Is it possible to breed a California king snake with a Florida king?

Cali kings and Florida kings are both subspecies of Lampropeltis getula, so their offspring would not technically be hybrids (only inter-specific crosses are called hybrids). I don't imagine you would have any trouble breeding them, but I'm no expert.

I've seen this cross before. I think they're most often called "Lemon Kings."
