cage idea

thinking about building a new cage for my burms. Havent seen this so thought i would ask. was going to use my existing walls which are sheetrock,then just building top, front and bottom.What are yalls opinions on that

The humidity from the cage will destroy your drywall. Might as well add the back to the enclosure.

With a little planning it could be a great idea. I agree that the humidity will destroy the drywall, so a coating will need to be applied, maybe linoleum or other vinyl sheeting?

You're talking making the cage the length of the room, with the sides existing walls as well correct? If so, you could make this into a really neat stand for other cages, or a bar or something. I would really like to see pics if you do do this. Make sure you build a sub floor to keep that air gap off the floor. What dimensions are you thinking.

yes make existing walls for the sides, be 12 ft. long by 24in wide about 3ft high, u brought up some good ideas also, stands and bar idea. but i was thinking of stacking 2 cages that big gor both my burms. im still studying on the idea before i figure out what im gonna do
