Photos of New Pastel projects

evansnakes Dec 09, 2007 05:26 PM

I don't post very many pics 1) because I am a bad photographer and 2) because I do not produce quad visuals (yet!). But I thought I would update a project from last year and show a couple 07 kids off as well.

First is the 2007 male "Tiger"? Pastel. He is a really cool genetic banded/reduced pattern pastel with crazy blushing in his bands. I really like this guy. He hatched with an identical looking "normal" colored sibling and this is my second year producing these so I know for sure now we have a real genetic deal.

Next is an updated photo of what I think may be a Harlequin pastel I hatched in 2006. He is at least partially genetic in pattern and color as he takes after his mom, but I not sure what is here yet. I am hoping he breeds this season and can answer some questions for me. The striping and circles in the stripes are identical to his mothers'.

Last is just a female 2007 pastel I hatched that is the best colored girl of the year. If I did not know that she was not a super I would think by her color and faded head (at 400 grams!) that she would be a super and a good super at that!

Hope you guys enjoy the bad pics. I should have some good progress on many weird pastel projects this year hopefully. Good luck everydoy. Evan

The pics came out much darker on here than on my computer or camera for some reason. It's a shame, they have great color.
