Still in Germany and missing my Snakes-

iamsnakeshack Dec 10, 2007 08:33 AM

I’ve been in Cologne Germany since September 30th for work and I’m missing California life and my snakes very much! I’m a little obsessive so it’s hard for me to leave my snakes in the care of somebody else.
I haven’t found any cool reptile shops yet but I haven’t really looked hard for them either. I did find a cool reptile zoo about 40 minutes south of me; it’s the home of the Tail of Cedric and the Dragon. I was surprised that they housed juvenile balls, boas and carpets of different sizes in the same enclosure, some of which could have been easley eaten by the others. All in all it was one of the bigger reptile zoos I have seen.
I have been tempted to look up some of the breeders in Germany but I don’t know how hard or expensive getting a snake home would be, plus the dollar has taken a beating against the euro!
I haven’t posted since early October but I’m having Boa withdraws and needed a little “snake talk”. If anyone knows any cool reptile shops in or near Cologne, please post them.
Thanks!
