I just sent out my last package of snakes before Christmas. Fed- Ex is not guranteeing any more overnight deliveries until after Christmas.

I guess anyone wanting Florida kings will have to wait unless they want to take the chance of lost or delayed packages.

Nice Brooks! I guess with all the X-mas rush things will be delayed, I hope not that long? Don't have too many more walls to pace!

the new snake rush is great... Hopefully after next seemster starts I'll be able to hit a show and pick up a new member to the Zoo... Just gotta figure out what I want... And as I tell my boyfriend I want another snake, I get the eyeroll and "why?"...

I keep tellin him they were here first, so he doesn't want to make me choose between him and them...

Fourtunatly, he's very patient and understanding....

I dunno yet, I have a b&w striped Cal male, an albino striped Cal female, and a lavendar brooksi male, and i'm set up for 4 snakes now since my het brooksi female didnt make it, so im leanin toward graybanded or MBK... havent decided which yet... or maybe a mate for my lavendar... either way, it's gonna be a tough decision... and I can't wait to get to a show to start my search...

How about a gray banded, a MBK and a mate for your lavendar? Sounds good to me!

Scott, that thought had crossed my mind, but with the size of my house, I just don't have room for 3 more... 1's really pushin it space wise, but i'm hopin my friend will take back her Uromastyx thats takin up half my living room and help me out...
that and being a full time student workin 24 hours a week and needing to spend time with my horse, I have trouble finding time to take proper care of the snakes I have... I don't want to neglect an animal because I'm being selfish and have to have it...

get a rack then you've got space! 5-10 snakes in one unit

bizkit421 Dec 11, 2007 12:07 AM

I thought of that too, but until my boyfriend proposes, I dont want to get carried away... he'll hold Spot, my biggest Cal King, while I clean his cage, but the other two he won't mess with cause they're smaller... I don't want to push my luck too far just yet...

It's a very exceptional "ghost" Honduran Milksnake. It combines two genetic traits, hypomelanism, and anerythrism to produce a snake with ZERO black tipping, reduced black bands, and an overall lighter pastel colored animal.

Here is a good comparison pic so you can see what drastic affect the hypomelanism can have on really good examples.

best regards, ~Doug

nice... I'd really like a tangerine honduran, but the price on them is a bit out of my reach since I just want a pet, not a breeder...

after christmas it'll be furnished with a heated hide rock, a non-heated hide rock, lots of carefresh to burrow in, and close enough to the tv that he'll be able to watch whatever we're watching... lol...

I'm gettin the heated hide as a present from a friend who traded her sugar gliders for credit at a petstore...
