Went home for lunch today and was looking at Candy (bred by Reeses) Reeses has been ignoring her for over a week and Candy looks like she swallowed more than a football, more like a buick

So I decided it was about time I pulled Reeses because he's still been acting like he wanted nothing more than to leave her. Snakes being the dawgs they are, love em and leave em.

Then I had a thought, my other coral albino has been acting a bit wierd. She did get an axtra month of feeding and had just pooped and was looking nice a girthy. She's a 2005 but pretty good sized for a 2005, I bought her earlier this year. Produced by big Mike, she has awesome coloring. Any ways, she's been messing her cage up a lot, passing urates, knocking over her water bowl etc. So, just for kicks, I put her in with Reeses and DANG stuff started happening right away. She was moving about the cage fairly rapidly, spreading urates within one minute of being introduced. Then she continued to move all over the cage with her tail up, cloaca open and female organs out on display, rubbing them all over the floor. I can only imagine she was marking and leaving some sort of scent trail. LOL, the cage "was" clean when they were moved into it, not any more!!!

Reeses was quite excited about the whole chain of events. Went from a snake trying to get out and away - to one all over a female, flicking her with his tongue. Once he started flicking her, she settled down a lot. I'm thinking she's quite ready for him!!!!

Had to come back to work...will be checking in when I get home for sure!!!!!

Well, if all goes well, looks like Reeses may be fathering two litters this year!!!!

Reeses (Pastel Salmon) x Candy (Pastel circle back ladder tail) =
double dos pastels, 1/2 salmon, 1/2 normal

Reeses (Pastel Salmon) x Ruby (coral albino) =
1/2 DH sunglows, 1/2 het albino all with some degree of coral and/or pastel

Could be a couple of awesome litters, definitely will be pacing while waiting for those ones to come!!

Seriously... good luck with those puppies! You will be pleased with those kids no doubt and that boy can appreciate them from a far. I'll let him look at the pictures OK?

his week, his month, heck, his whole year!!!!

First I hook him up with some Candy and mmmmm, she was tasty.

Now OMG, she's huge. Simply amazing how they can "inflate" like that, she's pretty much doubled her girth without eating a thing. Much more stretched out than she ever got with any feeding. I'd call that overfeeding if it came from food...

Then when he was done all the sweets Candy had to offer, I hooked him up with another easy girl, Coral. Coral had her skirt up showing her goods before she had been in the cage for 5 minutes. She didn't let him have his way with her right away, they cruised the cage for hours, him chasing, her slithering away. Then this evening after 12 hours of chasing, she's giving in and now he get's his reward for a proper chase!!
