My Sri Lankan Star within 24 hours has gone from being extremely active and eating well to being really lathargic. Temp is at 84 degrees inside with no cold air going in at all. Eyes are just starting to get a little cloudy. Will get to the vets office in the a.m. tomorrow. No bubbles coming from the nose at all.. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions ? Gave him a warm bath 1 hour ago. Not very interested nor was he thirsty. Thanks for all help given. MIke

It looks like you're doing everything you can. The heat and hydration are the important points.

It's up to getting it to a good tortoise vet ASAP.

If it's not a seasoned herp vet mention the ARAV http://www.arav.org/

I'm sure the vet can find a consult through them.

EJ thanks for all the useful info that you have given me. Have an appointment at 8:00 in the morn. I'll have tests on him as this is the first time the tortoise has ever exhibited being ill in 3 1/2 years. My other two desert tortoises have gone into hibernation so only having to worry about 1 is a good thing, I guess. Again thanks for the help and info will let you know what comes of all the tests and his health.. Mike
