Anery & Ghost MOTLEY!!!

eyecandyexotics Dec 11, 2007 11:56 AM

Made you look... hahaha! But seriously, Has anyone produced either one and if so why is there not a picture of one on this forum or somewhere else. If it does exist out there I would love to see a picture of one. If not I am sure someone will produce one this upcoming season.

It has been done, best of luck on your breeding though.

Anery and Ghost Motleys were both produced in the same clutch sometime in late July maybe early August.

Unfortunately I can't disclose who did it either but I can confirm that this is NO rumor.

Happy Holidays...

Jeremy S can varify it as well. It was from a Motley X Anery. He didn't know it was a het. He got Ghosts, Hypo Motleys Etc. They were produced last year and some of the males MIGHT breed this year. It was really hard telling what was what. But I feel that I saw atleast 1 Ghost Motley maybe 2 in the litter.
As every body know the Hypo can play havoc on the patterns.

I spoked to Jeremy around July when I picked up my Motley and he said there were no Anery or Ghost Motleys that he knew of. Oh well if they are out there congrats to who ever produced them. I would like to see how they look.

I can understand some things being hidden. Like when certain breeders do not disclose their "ingredients" or genes of their animals out there for the public to see. (ie Paragigm, inferno, etc..) That is a smart business decision. I do not however understand why they would not post a pic up on a forum. Even if they posted it anonomously just so the eventual consumers could see it and salivate over it for a year or two. I am by no means trying to be offensive I am just trying to understand better the reason as to why. The albino motley and other combo's have been made and shown. I just think that sparks interest in business.

Curious

A lot of keepers and breeders have certain feelings about forums in general, and some more than others. A lot of breeders, very well known ones with decades of experience, read these forums and never post.

Then again, maybe it's just not as appealing as you might think, lol! That wouldn't spark much interest would it?? Oh, and the guy that has them RARELY posts on the forums. I wish we could see half of the stuff that's out there that is never posted, or even talked about. I don't just mean morphs either, there's some smokin "normals" out there too.

Forums are such a small small portion of the hobby.
