I've had my iguana for about 2 1/2 months now and treat him like a king I built him a custom cage myself because the first one was too small I feed him collard green,mustard greens,watercress,green beens,cactus leafs,I try feeding him fruits but he's not used to sweets sometimes I open his cage and read out loud so he can get used to my voice and see him paying attention when I read but after all that he still dosent like to held very much I let him bite me so he could understand that it dosent hurt I when he trys to squirm out of my hand I try to take charge by not letting go well... if anyone could help me on making him more frendly anyrhing would help

My advice to you is: be patience because this can take up to a year, or longer, for your iguana to loose its fear of you. Just keep doing what you are doing.
