Another long anticipated pairing.......

Brandon Osborne Dec 12, 2007 03:00 PM

Pied X Pewter. I found these two locked up yesterday for about 4 hours......then again this morning before I left for work. BTW, the female Pewter is in deep shed.

Female when not in shed. She actually looks as good as some sterlings I've seen.

Wish me luck.

Good luck Brandon, I thinks it's going to be a winning project! Have a great breeding season, Brian (BHB)

Thanks Brian. I figured it's been done already, but it doesn't hurt to try myself. I don't have a ton of balls like most but I'm becoming more interested each day. Good luck with your season. I'm sure you'll hatch out some new things as usual.

Thanks again.

Good luck, Brandon! Your pewter girl is amazing. I hope mine turn out half as nice.

Thanks Marcial. I see you're enjoying the dark side a bit more, huh? So how many do you have now?

not as many as most seasoned bp guys, but let's just say that I have "a few"......shhhh... don't tell anyone as I cannot have that getting out! LOL

Wow congrats Brandon. How big is that pewter female? You must have been really pounding her hard. I just hatched out another clutch from her brother X a pastel and I got another two Sterlings. I will post some pics when they shed. Take care Paul at Steel City Exotics

Brandon Osborne Dec 12, 2007 08:22 PM

Thanks Paul. She's right at 1400 completely empty. She's been off feed for several weeks and just thought I'd try and see what happens. They've been locked up all day.

Good luck with the season and thanks for a killer animal.

Thank you all for the great support. When I first thought of this project, I only imagined it would be many years before it took off the ground. I'm excited to get things moving toward the future and hope to post pics of lots of different pied combos in the years to come. Who wants a Silver Bullet Pied?! I know I do.

Thanks again and good luck to everyone.
