atb housed together?

calmchaos Dec 13, 2007 11:42 PM

so i acquired 2 adult amazon tree boas both over 4ft. the guy i got them from doesnt know what sex they are, and i havent attemted to check yet. but they were hosed together when he had them,so i put them in the same tank, and they are sleeping all wraped up with each other. should i assume that this is a male female pair or will two males,or two females do this? just by looking one seemed to be male(by the disstance of vent to tip of tail, but i could be wrong) thanx in advance for feedback!

They can be either male or female...doesn't really matter because amazons will coil together in certain situations in captivity. They are best housed seperately though...
