Anyone know what ball python this is?
Thanks
Will
Hello,
I believe it is a new line of the Super Phantom Ball Python. (originally this morph was proven to be genetic by Ralph Davis)
They certainly do look similar.
You might want to quiz the breeder...and try comparing it to the super form (homozygeous)snake Ralph has consistently produced. Look for the link to the Super Phantom on Ralph's Site.
Hope that info is helpful.

It is a combination of the SUper Phantom for sure and two other things....
Secondly, the name is not exactly its name, in fact it(they) have no name...it was more of a goof.
We are just using a line of phantom(Wild) that proves that they are in fact Phantoms. I was very excited to see them hatch and have always drooled over Ralph's.......
THe Phantom mutation is AWESOME and RARE..... They are NOT Phantoms unless they make SUPER PHANTOMS!!!!! Pretty shocking to see what can be made with this mutation!
Kevin

Cool.
I thought I was on the right track.
Congrats on them Kevin.
You are right, Ralphs are worthy of drool action.
Your's look great too.
By the way......
I love the name...it's almost like a little finger poked in Brian's eyeball.
PASSION, PASSION, PURPLE PASSION! LOL.
(sorry bhb...the devil made me say it.)
Now Kevin...you got to make one called the GREEN ENVY!!!
(try to make him cry.)
Thanks for the info posted on the Super Phantom Combo.
Later,
Harlin
well let's start the guessing game:
super phantom x mojave x and ummm just a wild guess woma
how'd I do Kev?
either way it is one of the coolest things to come from this past season.

"super phantom x mojave x and ummm just a wild guess woma"
I don't know about the woma part but phantom and mojave appear to be alleles - different mutations of the same gene. An animal can only have two copies of a gene (regardless of how many total versions exist in the population) so it couldn't be both homozygous phantom and heterozygous mojave. If it's a super phantom there is no room for an additional copy of any of the other mutations in that complex.
Could cinnamon or black pastel be involved? What breedings have been done between the white snake complex and the cinnamon/black pastel to test for any sort of relationship there?
Randy I wasn't thinking of the phantom x lesser creating a white snake when I replied so I could and probably am wrong. However, when you think about the white snake complex, the phantom is the only one that doesn't have a lucy super. perhaps in my opinion the phantom gene reacts differently with the mojave (very long shot). Also the lesser has been bred with the black pastel and created what is being called the black lesser so that could be a possiblility.
new guess super phantom x woma x secret woma gene.

Phantom Woma bred to a Woma with the "hidden" gene that produces the striping seen in the woma x lesser crosses? Or perhaps a pastel woma with the gene???
Here's a Phantom Woma you had on display in Daytona, killer animal in it's own right.

That animal makes me feel a little warm inside!
I think I feel my wallet getting lighter!?!?
Take a look at the Lesser Woma (w/HG) cross. That striping is identical to the striping on the PP. It seems apparent that it's a super phantom exhibiting the same striping seen on that snake which with what Kevin says Phantom x ? x ? being the ingredients...
Maybe he considers the hidden gene one of those question marks giving us
Phantom x Woma x HG
if not I would guess that it's pastel
Phantom x Woma (w/HG) x Pastel
I will clairify my original post (or add more confusion)
by guessing the snake was offsring from breeding a Phantom Woma (HG) to a Pastel Phantom?
Whatever it is.....it's incredible.
And if you really took the time to read all that here's a photographic reward. 2 more of Kevin's knockouts. I think it's an adult Soul Sucker 2.0 but I am not sure? And the other is one of what I consider to be a top 5 of all time combo...Enchi Bumblebee....I couldn't capture the coloration exactly on this amazing snake, but I think this comes close. What it doesn't show is the light green eyes....wow.

i believe its a HotWheel!!@ LEADING THE WAY BABY!@
