Your Amel Pacific looks so different from mine.
Could mine be mis-identified? Anyone?

wisema2297 Dec 14, 2007 06:16 PM

The colors look it but the eyes look normal, not red. Good question.

durrus Dec 14, 2007 07:20 PM

The eyes are definitely ruby red. It does not show well in the picture.
It looks very diferent color-wise than the one posted above by viborero.

okeeteekid Dec 15, 2007 11:39 AM

here is a pic of my 2005 female stillwater hypo bullsnake, she looks much more yellow in person.

linnyclay Dec 16, 2007 09:51 AM

That is a very nice snake! Did it have the black circles go that far down when it was a baby, or does it get more black as she got older?

okeeteekid Dec 16, 2007 11:09 AM

she looked like this as a hatchling, same amount of black, but with not as much yellow, the pic was taken 6 months ago,i put her away for the winter to breed her this year, just took a peak at her the other day and she looks way more yellower than this pic of her,i got my pair from home grown herps, jim told me as they get older they color up, boy he wasn't kidding! gentle snakes too.

colby Dec 18, 2007 12:18 AM

Very nice! One of my favorite morphs.

Steve_Craig Dec 16, 2007 09:29 AM

Here's my only pit at the present time. An 07 female black pine, which is a sibling to Ralph's (wisema2297) 07 male black pine pictured above.
And speaking of black pines Ralph, your 06 female is turning out very nice. Steve

durrus Dec 16, 2007 08:24 AM

I would have liked to get a female White Side but the Snow was the next best thing. She's a looker but it's really hard to get a good shot of her, like the Black Pines.
