Here's a photo of a big, mean, L. t. polyzona girl.

I'll try to post some other stuff this weekend.

So in other words,...you could say she's dark through and through,.....down to her soul!...LOL

Nice pic Cole!,...I like her!

Good observation, Doug! She's a biter, that's for sure. In certain light, she's almost all black, but get her in the right conditions and she glows beautiful red and black. Neat animals and interesting dispositions... LOL

Colester have you got a full body pic of that banded biting basta#d to post here?
She hasn't got a bit of white anywhere in those black bands does she? Really interesting polyz!

Unfortunately, Jeff, that girl won't hold still long enought to let me get a photo of her without losing a quart of blood in the process. I may have a couple decent ones from the other day but I'll have to load onto the computer to know for sure.

As for coloration, she's solid red and black dorsally, but has some white banding visible on her ventrals. I'd imagine she started life as a heavily tipped tricolor.

Nice looking animal, Cole. I didn't realize polyzona had attitudes...do you find that common with them or do you just have a grouchy animal?

I think it's just a Cole thing....all my polyz are mellow!
(the banded biting beast is a wc actually)

Dave,

I agree with Jeff... I think it's something about that WC female and her neonates that makes here "special" in the attitude area. LOL

I can't wait to see mine go through their color change!
Jeff, I couldn't be happier with them. Thank you!

Hard to believe how much those hatchlings can pack in isn't it?
Enjoy them Phil! Here's the old man once again.....

Nice snake, Nate! Do you have locality on that little looker? I love the orange-yellow bands on that thing! Thanks for the compliments, too!
