i would like to put plexi glass doors on my cages but i am open to any ideas. i have access to both home depot and lowes so i prefer to have the materials at those places i dont want to have stuff shipped due to the ampunt of money it cost and i have a busy schedule and never know when im gonna be home to get the package(i have neighbors that would steal my grass if they could)
detailes and instruction would be great or a web site of someone who has plans.

I pick out a nice, straight 1x2 poplar board and use router or table saw to cut out about a 1/4" x 1/4" strip for the glass. Using miter saw I cut 45 degree angles and then use air stapler to put together-you could easily use corner braces instead, just be sure that it is square by measuring diagonal corner distances. I don't use piano hinges because of high price-just 3 regular hinges. I cut sides so than when finished the door has a 1/8 inch gap at top to help ventilation. I have glass shop cut glass to fit and run a strip of silicone caulk around inside of door then lay the glass on that. I use regular 1/4" glass because I am keeping corns and kings and don't need anything stronger.
