I originally brought this up to help educate and to be educated on the topic. I appreciate the positive discussion and openness of most to another perspective of this matter. I respect all opinion for what they are. I may not agree but do respect them.
Educated discussions are what inevitably accomplish things in this world. We need to continue to talk as a species and find answers to the ever growing lists of problems that we find along the way. Just accepting issues for what they are even though they are wrong is not an option. We will never become a better society with this attitude. You forget this is the attitude that formed this great country.
Hopefully there are some people that read the below post and learned something about the importation of this beautiful animal and will think twice when purchasing from pet stores that support this. I know I will.
I will not give up on this cause as I fell strongly about it even with the content backlash that I knew I would receive when I initially posted.
