Came across this ad today while reading a gun magazine. Apparently if you are a fisherman it is in your best interest to carry a special "snake gun" for those ferocious snakes that jump in the boat and bite you just for the fun of it.

However, I found a major design flaw with this product:
Once the snake has jumped into your boat to get you, you're going to sink your boat if you shoot it. Then the rest of the snakes in the area may smell blood in the water and come to eat you, and steal your fish, and probably your gun as well.

It is hard to believe I have spent so many years of my life fishing, completely unarmed, and I still live to talk about it!

Has anyone ever seen a dumber reptile ad?

HAHAHAHA!!!!!!,......Now THAT'S funny!..LOL

But I usually arm myself with a 50 caliber machine gun for those really pesky ones!.......although I've had to replace my boat after every outing!........It seems the Boston Whaler works best for me, since it will still float,....even when riddled in half by my trusty "SNAKE SLAYER"!!..LOL

Seriously though,....that's got to be one of the absolute FUNNIEST ads I've ever seen!.....thanks for posting that!

Really funny stuff man. That is great. Nice product to look into. To think... all the ruined fishing trips when snakes dive-bombed us without warning, lol, we were all so helpless, lol.

sad...

Im just gonna keep it to that one word, because if i say more than that, ill go into one of these long speeches, and then everybody will hate me. so,just sad.

i was at the local gun shop this week and noticed a gun that looked similar to the one in the ad. i took a closer look and sure enough it was the "snake slayer". so that is actually the real name they have for their product. right their in the gun case at the shop was this dumb little gun known as the "snake slayer". well you guys will probably be happy to know i didn't buy it
