Pricing on Albino Milk Snakes

dbabi05 Dec 15, 2007 07:05 PM

Let me start by saying I am always hesitant about posting here because I got reemed the first time I did.

We got our first snake somewhere around June. It is a Hondran Milk Snake. A good friend breeds GTPs and suggested the milk snake as a good starter snake. It was free thru my friend's connection. My daughter and I love it and are ready to get another. The same source is offering a male albino baby for $100. Since I don't know, just curious is $100 a good deal?

P.S. The pics were taken within a week of first getting her.

That's not a bad price at all!......especially if it's a real good looking one!

Have fun with them!

best regards, Doug

I am waiting to see a pic. I am very pleased with the first snake we got from the guy. Since he is a friend of my friend, I have never actually dealt with him. We are new at this, I have no concept of pricing. Up until about 2 years ago I was terrified of snakes and now I can't wait to get a second one.

Thanks for your feedback.

I agree with Doug, $100 is not a bad price at all BUT there is a lot of variation in the albino hondurans. For example,if you want a killer bi-color tangerine it would be more than that. You can probably score a nice tri-color albino for $100.

They're great snakes. Enjoy your new addition. Here's an 06 tangerine albino I have.

That's a pretty standard price for an albino Honduran.

Hello!!

I would say 100 is a below average price for an albio hondo but not by much.. Also depends on the type of albino as well, do you know it is a tangerine, tri-color or Bi-color?
