I have not seen an amel or normal stripe as an adult, so I need help with the ID.
I think normal, but he is so bright red/orange?

This is probably a "DUH" answer... but what color are the eyes?

simple, check the eyes
if they are red amel...if not, normal
in the pictures they eyes look dark so I would go with normal
just to be mean...lol....could be hypo...
get it from the same place as the little one you showed?
any relation?

nah. I produced the little one. It was the only one in the clutch. A lot of my snakes are from one source, the breeder that got me into the whole corn snake "thing".

The adult I purchased just about a month ago at a reptile show.

I never thought about looking at the eyes. Talk about a rookie move. lol.
Just checked. Eyes are a copper color with a black center. So..Normal.
