Racks for kings...

MikeFedzen Dec 16, 2007 04:42 PM

Who here bought racks that are sufficient for adult kingsnakes?

I'm looking for recommendations on who/where I should buy a rack from that would do good for keeping/breeding kingsnakes around 4'-5'.

Any ideas?

I just finished building a rack around the CB75 tub (39x22) and the sterilite 74 qt that you can find at target which is a little longer and narrower. I'll post pics in a few days.

I bought the Animal Plastics Sterilite Rack #1754 ($180.00) and am extremely pleased. It holds the 32 qt and 15qt. box. It's great for kings, milks, corns. etc. And their service is exceptional.

I built my own for what I felt I needed. I built mine around 66 qt tubs (39.5" X 20.5" ) with additional space for yearlings (15 qt) and hatchlings (6.5 qt). I like having the work space on top of the 66 qts because it gives me plenty of room for cleaning out any tubs. This rack will hold 16/66 qts, 12/15 qts and 29/6.5 qts.
