Ok I made the commitment not to lower my tape this season. I have left my tape set at 95 degrees 24-7 . The slow drop in ambient temp at night has worked fine. I was skeptical how much of an effect barometric pressure had on breeding . I have had zero lockups in the past 10-15 days and the weather has been mild and dry. Today a low pressure moved in and all my breeders were locked up. I was amazed how quick they reacted to the pressure drop. I read more than a few links recently claiming how huge the baro had to do with breeding. Thanks to all that responded to the lowering of tape temps. A side note.........
I hatched a clutch of pos hets for LAV on 11-29 with 1.3 results IM STOKED Now for the long wait!!!!!! Good luck all!
