Brooksi/S. Fla King morph rundown?

NomadOfTheHills Dec 17, 2007 09:44 AM

Hi, my friend has a male flame brooksi, and I am considering getting a female.

What would be my best bet for under 75 dollars or so?

Is flame dominant or recessive?

Also, I have been seeing peanut butters, sulfurs, etc, and was wondering if anyone could tell me some basics behind these morphs beside what the sellers are claiming (I don't like to get all my info from a seller, how can I trust them?)

If not, a link perhaps? I have found little through google searches. Thanks!

The Flame is a dominant gene. A real good Flame hypo will have a red head. All the others turn yellow with age while the red heads hold onto more red as adults.

Picing is according to how red the ehad is. A true Flame will go for as much as $300. A high red hypo will go from anywhere between $50-$100. depending on what the seller can get for it.

True Flame hypos are harder to find.

Here is a nice Flame I took a picture of Flame on someones table at the Daytona Expo this year. The seller wanted upwards of $300. for it.

As far as the other new Floridana morphs you can email me in private as i popularized and originated most of them. I don't mind answering any questions you might have about specific morphs.
