I recently procured a pair of young (9"
Wags from a local source. The dealer did not know where they came from or if they were C/B or F/C. The discription follows...
Both are typical in structure for a Wagler's, moreover, the twin spotted pattern and eye stripe are consistant with juv Sumatrans. It is the color that raises the question. The Dorsal color is a dull greenish to greenish blue fading to a pale powder blue on the flanks. the veneer is white. The eye stripe is mahogany as are half of each spot on the dorsum (the other half being white).
I have never seen young Wags that look like this before. Any ideas on what they are and where they're from? Frank
