Give me a few years. My male did not make it. Triaspis I hear are not teh easiest to keep. My young female is off feed, but it's that time of year, and she was eating very good. I hope to get a 1.1 pair if I go to AZ get my license and track a few down.

We've got three localities right now: Box Canyon (Santa Rita Mountains), Baboquivari Mountains, and Chiricahua Mountains -- all are AZ locales of Senticolis triaspis intermedia. We've also got another subspecies, the Honduran Green Rat (S. t. mutabilis). These are copperish brown. The common name, Green Ratsnake, comes from the intermedia subspecies, which are very lime green as adults.

Hoping for a clutch or two in '08. There are a few other breeders working with these as well. Dave Katz, Gerold Merker, Gregg Feaster, and Dan Grubb come to mind. You should post your question on the Ratsnake forum.
