Hi,

Verry often anoles are being kept to wet. This causes skin trouble and problems with skin comming off. Could this be a possible cause? humidly of 50% is enough for anolis carolinensis, ofcourse higher is ok but the envoirement needs to be rather dry. If this could be a cause i would suggest placing the animal in a dryer tank. Ofcourse this wont be enough for the rotting skin around the eyes. I suggest that you visit a specialised vet.
