Well shoot. I like being able to use blue light bulbs for a little added heat in the winter-time with some of my caging (the older glass/screen top ones, I've still got a couple of those in use and the heat tape just doesn't always do the trick). I prefer not to use CHEs. Guess I have until 2012 to get everyone switched into plastic caging and heat tape. Oh boy!

I just heard about the phase out today from a guy I work with, though he said it was 2009. I haven't checked the dates on it, so I am not sure who's right.

There are always radiant heat panels, a good option to consider. Helix offers panels with vents in them designed to be used as a top for aquariums instead of screens.

TV broadcast is being switched to HD as well, and more Hydrogen fuel stations are going to be opening up now that Fuel Cell cars are ready to be made available. Just a few changes.
