POST EM IF YOU GOT EM!!---VPI SNOWS-----

I read on another forum where someone posted the snow project was dead. I disagree, I don't care how many combos throw a white snake none of them hold a candle to the VPI SNOW.

I love snows. I think I'll start my double het project next season. I wonder how many people out there are REALLY interested in this mutation. Judging by this thread, not many.

I have not yet started a double recessive project, but I imagine it is extremely time consuming with little chance of producing what you want for several breeding seasons. I also wouldn't think it would be as fun since you would be working with "normal looking" snakes.

With that said, my favorite morphs are anything crossed with pieds. Albino pieds... ghost pieds... lavender albino pieds. I would love to see an axanthic pied.

Other double recessives I think are amazing are coral glows, orange ghost genetic stripes, and anything with clowns. I would love to see a carmel clown.

Snows are great, but I can think of many other projects I would like to spend my time on and a cheaper/easier way to make a white snake.

Just my opinion...

It's a great looking morph, but I'd bet not many people are willing to put in the time when there are so many easier ways to make a white snake. It's too bad really, it's a very nice mutation. I plan on trying it with red axanthics rather then VPI axanthics when they get big enough.
