green_jello369 Dec 20, 2007 07:37 AM

Yesterday i went and bought all the different types of light that i have been reading about and i just wanted to make sure i had all the correct stuff,i bought a basking light and underneath the basking light it gets to about 95 degrees, i have a little heat lamp on the other side that stays a little cooler at aroun 80 to 85 degrees, i have a uvb bulb, and a ceramic heat emmiter for night time. will all of this work or do i need to buy more lights? i am also using a 55 gallon tank.

I don't know much about this brand. These are the bulbs
seen in most regular petstores. I would highly recommend
the Reptisun 5.0 if you are not going to use the Active
UVB bulbs. You can purchase these online at LLL Reptile
for a really good price and remember to replace it about
every 6 months as they deteriorate with time even while
giving off light. Make sure with these that is it no more
than about 12" above your ig.

Happy Holidays!
Linda
