my corn snake is about 8 months old.. is it ok to start giving him/her fuzzies now?
should i have given them to her before now?

Size is more important than age. The rule-of-thumb is to feed a mouse that is about the same width as the widest part of the snake. So it all depends on how big the snake is. You can also feed it two pinkies instead of one fuzzy.
