BCI and BCC refer to subspecies. With the species boa constrictor there are 7 different sub species. BCI refers to boa constrictor imperator and BCC is boa constrictor constrictor.

Longicauda
Constrictor
Imperator
Nebulosus
Orophias

Amarali
Occidentalis
Sabogae

And two maybes: Melanogaster and Sigma

this link out. It's Chris Gilbert's website where he has some time put in but you can follow from the top starting with bci and down the page is bcc. The ones listed earlier in the thread were bcc. Hope it helps

Boa List

Subspecies are determined by scale countes and other traits. If you will take a shed and count the scales across and down, along with the dorsal saddle count, you can determine the subspecies, Except if it's a cross.
BCI will have 22-30 dorsal saddles, 55-79 dorsal scales and 225-259 Ventrals, were as the BCC will have 15-21 dorsal saddles, 81-95 dorsal scales, and 234-243 ventral scales. Again if it is a cross done of this applies.

thats what i was wondering, so basically there is a subtle differance scanle count and natural range. now looking at that boa list is it safe to assume that most of the morphs that most breeders have are BCIs wit a few acceptions like the suriname and the guyana?

The only pure blood morphs that are available are MOSTLY BCI. There are cross bred BCC morphs. The pure morphs of BCC either haven't been bred in captivity, or in the one case where it was they aren't available.

There are 3 Occidentalis morphs, and Anery Longicaudas as well.

Learning the differences off of sight will just take time and looking at hundreds of pictures. Be sure to go to credible sources when learning how to identify the different morphs, locales, and subspecies. There are countless incorrectly labeled pictures both on the web and in published books, that can make a mess for someone trying to learn about them.
