I was going to put the beardies outside, went out on the deck to check temps. Holy Moly!! I burned my bare feet. The babies sure aren't going out there today!! For the heck of it, I put the thermometer probe on the deck floor. This is why we call Missouri, MISERY! It's got humidity to match.
My A/C is crankin and you can see how refreshing it is INSIDE!!
I'm dreamin of "home" today, Lake Michigan, cool breeze!!!
The heat index is actually only (only!! haha) 110.
Everytime it gets like this, I thank God I wasn't born in Laura Ingalls Wilder time, she was from MO. too, (Little House on the Prairie).
OK, heats getting to me, I'm rambling...lol

im thankful to live in san diego on the coast, always a great ocean breeze, just lookin out on the ocean cools us down i think go inland about 30 miles tho and whoa.. its really hot.. wouldnt get me livin there.. sorry there isnt any playtime for the babies today!

I'm not here cuz I want to be, we were transferred (husbands job) here about 11 yrs ago. This project is almost done and we'll be going somewhere else. I don't know where that is, but I hope its faaaaaaaar away from here.

they almost had us move to reno for my guys job, he didnt take it tho, whew.. good thing to.. i dont like reno..wayyy too hot, to barren for me too.... instead we stayed here in san diego, much better

We only moved here because it was a long stint and didn't want our son going from school to school. It was good for that reason, he's in 8th grade this yr. The hard part is coming up, moving him from his friends.. I bet if we could be oceanside he wouldn't complain much!!

Ahhh... that sounds like home. That would be one of the reasons why I moved to Alabama. Believe it or not, it hasn't gotten near as hot down here this year as it did in St. Louis.
