I caught this sorta hypo dusky a couple years ago and she bred months ago with a wild caught anery and she is finally starting to show that something is cooking inside. I am told she may produce ghost pigs but we will see.

If she truly is hypomelanistic and was bred to a true anerythristic animal, she probably wouldn't produce any 'ghosts' in the first generation. If the hypo gene in pigs works similarly to the way it does in ball pythons (simple recessive), all the babies would be double het for anery and hypo (aka DH ghost). However, if the hypo gene were expressed in the incomplete dominant form as it is in boas, then you may get about half hypos, half normals, all het anery. Whatever happens, it should be neat to watch unfold! Can't wait to see baby pics.

Say What?
Now I know why I shun the long thinking it takes to make morphs.
But seriously, yea, I would have to breed the babies together get the ghosts etc.

Nice snake.
You tell 'em Dan.

Eh, most herp morphs are very easy to predict and combine relative to the multi-allelic phenomena one studies in an actual genetics course. You're usually just working with two alleles, one of which is usually recessive and the other is dominant, which will always cover the recessive if it's present. Then all you have to do is learn how to use a Punnett Square and you're all set.
Sorry, it's the teacher in me, which thankfully gets to be 'shut down' for the next two weeks!
