...I might as well throw up a few pics. These pics are by my friend Mike who was on the trip as well...

This pic shows the extreme variation that this snake can demonstrate at a single locality...

Anyway...any more syspila pics folks? I never get tired of Reds...unfortunately 2008 will be more of a gentilis year for me, but hey, nothing wrong with gentilis (other than too much black)...

Very nice!,...........where was the locality of that little pile of Scarlets?....that looks like a very successful hunting trip!

Did you collect all those in early spring?

I didn't collect any of them...all accept for one were released, and the one was deposited into a museum.

As far as the locality, about all I can say is in the vacinity of Franklin County, Florida. Thanks!

That's really great to know that most are enjoying their lives back in the wild. Thanks for sharing those pics, and the info!.

Here's a couple of males I have from the Sandhills region of
Nc. First is a huge male that is like a bullet, thus the photo in the container. He'll eat three large fuzzys at a time.

This is a male given to me by Peter Jolles. He has a few aberrant
bands.

Enjoy!

Those are great looking. I like the aberrant elapsoide, not for the aberrancy, but how white the it's bands are.
Neat milks, thnaks for the photos.
