Happy Holidays, a few new pics

Spankenstyne Dec 21, 2007 01:34 AM

Howdy all.
Just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas + any other holiday you may be celebrating.

Got a few new pics the other day of the regular daytime colours of our 07 female and she's darkening up quite a bit. I tried a few with no flash to try and capture more of that wonderful iridescence but definitely will need more practice as this was the best one, and still too blurry but the shine sure popped. Just natural daylight from the window on the stairs:

A couple with flash:

All the best to ya!

Gotta love rainbows, they all look great. The brighter colors always look good but even the darker ones have their moments. The darker ones tend to show off more of the irridescence!!!

Thanks for sharing!!!

I agree I love them all. I've really warmed up to the darker ones in recent years & would say now that to me they're just as stunning as the lighter ones in their own way. In some ways I prefer them, I guess everyone just wants to be a bit different lol.

I figured it'd be nice to show the other side of the spectrum too.
Thanks for the kind words.

Definitely. She was really freaking me out with the iridescence that day so I tried to capture some of it. There will be some better shots in the future for sure.
Thanks

ones and that irridescence is whooping in that pic and makes for a stunning pic to say the least. Seeing the darker ones is a nice change of pace just like seeing Jeff's pics of other species of rainbows. thanks for sharing and Happy Holidays

I agree and thanks.

I'll definitely be trying to get some better high iridescence pics when I get a bit more free time in the new year. It's always fun to be able to share some pics & as mentioned put some variety up there.
