Vacation strategy?

bruce_y Dec 21, 2007 12:29 PM

What do you guys typically do when you take short vacations of, say, 3-4 days? If you have a 3-10 month old dragon, can you just leave a large pile of greens for a few days? Or do you absolutely need to feed insects every day?

I am prepared to arrange for a pet sitting service for long weekend trips, but it costs $25-$50.

Thanks!

Greens get dried out by the end of the day you put them in so that's not a good strategy. I don't see any other option but the pet sitter unless you have a neighbor or friend that can check in and care for them.

for young dragons that require 2 or more feedings of insects every day, I recommend having somebody come in at least every other day to feed and clean up after dragons. Adult dragons will be fine left alone for weekends.
