Steve,
You're right, you're going to have to screw these in (make holes). It's not as "scary" as it sounds. I'm far far far far away from even being mildly handy and i'm able to do this.
First turn the enclosure upside down and place the pannel were you see fit. Now take your electric screw driver and a small drill bit and score the plastic in one of the holes (i usually make one clock wise turn squeezing once on the drill). Now remove the pannel use a slightly larger bit than you were using and start drilling COUNTER CLOCKWISE until you get a nice little dent in the plastic. Now just simply switch from counter clocwise and clockwise until you're comfortable with how the plastic reacts to drilling.
I have yet to crack any of my enclosures, i'm sure you'll be fine. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
>>Ok so I have the acrylic caging from DaJens caging. I have yet to move the two animals I purchased the caging for into their new enclosures. I have a quick question for you. How did you install your heat panels onto the ceiling of the cages. I can't really see how the panels are installed in my Jim Schaphorn cages, but I assume they are screwed in some kind of way. I guess I just wanted to know how you installed yours into your acrylics, and if I will need some sort of special screws or bits (I am really scared of cracking these beautiful cages).
>>Thanks Man,
>>Steve
