Happy story- The Prince's Return

805Ringo Dec 21, 2007 05:28 PM

The 1st week of July, I had sadly mistracked the lid of my albino python, Prince Vincent. When I relized he escaped I fell into despair! I worried and worried & couldnt eat or sleep! I even called a psychic to try to gain any clues as to where he could be! The psychic told me to relax and not to worry myself sick- he will all of sudden be in front of me when I open a door- when I least expect it & that and he's FAT! After a month nothing. I decided to get another albino, nevertheless my heart still hoped Vincent could come back and find new Princess Angelica! Well, I had already resolved the Prince was dead from the cold here in Massachusetts. Call this a Christmas blessing- but when I open a door to a closet last week- there he was!!! Big and Fat after 6 months of roaming! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

Might want to quarantine him if he's been eating local prey, but otherwise congrats!

Quarantine is what I've been practicing- ThankYou- Yeah I'm worried about the mucka-muck he may have munched- he got fat! Would a treatment with ParaZap be an option?

So he actually weighs more now then he did before? Hard to believe that he would have actually found that much to eat in your house. Over six months I'm sure he would grow a lot. Still interesting...

You'd be surprised.. I had a 4ft Cali King get out a few years ago during the winter, and being in the NorthEast it gets cold, and we get mice in the house. She was a good 7" longer when we found her. She must have been eating like crazy..
