I don't like to probe. Just not comfortable doing it . I have a valuable male ( little guy ). He has locked up once so far this season . I have other snakes bought as girls that I want to bred him with. But are they girls or not ? I don't want to put him in with these bigger snakes and have one be male and kick his butt . Turn him off from breeding . Now my question . How many of you have put unknown snake in with a known snake? Example A spare female that has laid eggs before. With a female possible male ? Claude

I purposely put two males together quite often to entice breeding. Just keep an eye on them for a while and make sure there not striking. It usually becomes a pushing match and have never witnessed a strike.
