Re: Help!

I posted a message about my baby ball python having some tiny blisters and dried looking areas. Here's some pics. BTW the spots go away when she sheds then come back after a week or two.

Thanx

but they do look like dried papules
they clear up after a shed?
have U called Ur breeder? or did U get it as an import or from a petstore
I M not even sure I would trust the local vet (I have found a better one farther from home, and I M in a major city)
I hope someone more knowledgable than I (and a better speller)
The sores in the pic look like tight puckered blisters pr ulcers, like chicken pox on a child

Good luck

'Goodness gracious'

what horrors will be commonplace,
when my hair starts to grey?

I don't know, but I had a couple of babies that had dry looking spots on their skin that would disapear after a shed, then come back. I never could figure out what it was, and neither could my vet. (not that I have much confidance in that jerk anyway)
I tried everything I could think of. They eventually just cleared up on their own.

Good luck to you and your snake,
GratefulFred
