Oh, you don't need to send me a hypo BRB, I'll be happy with one of your Boa Constrictors.

wife???

natsamjosh Dec 22, 2007 09:48 PM

Man, can't you let a guy dream for little while??

She might be softening up a bit since Jack is a "less evil" snake than my boa was. She thought it was mildly funny last night when I took him out, and once again he just laid still on my lap and watched TV with me. It's pretty hilarious to see a snake just sit there and stare at the boob tube.

Anyway, to completely change the subject, how many snakes do you have, and what kinds?

She's gonna let you get another one just in time for next year's litters to drop I got

'05 0.0.1 common colombian (petco of all places)
'06 1.2 normal brb (Jeff a male, Will a female)
'06 0.1 hypo (Mike)
'07 1.0 normal brb (Dave)
'07 1.0 het hypo (Mike)
'07 0.1 het hypo (Dave) haven't paid this off or started
'07 1.1 hypo het lipstick (John Martino)
'07 0.1 hypo (Les K.)
'07 0.1 possible jungle het lipstick (Steve Ihrig)

all I need is
1 hypo male brb
1 female het hypo brb
1 male anery
1 female het anery
about 3-4 nice normals (red, orange, yellow, sh-t brownlol)

bci's
1 killer female pastel maybe from Jimmy Smith
1 male albino from Tom Burke
1 black tail anery het snow prolly Frank Martin
hypo motley male

and that should complete my collection but unfortunately most of it is expensive so it may take some time on a few of them but the most important ones to get for me is the pastel, het hypo female and male hypo and really importantly a red red red red male and hopefully I can sell some stuff so I can buy the rest

I hope so, I have a deposit down on next year's (female) pick of the litter. Jack needs a squeeze.

That's a pretty nice collection, don't shortchange yourself. You do have expensive taste, that's for sure.

I know this is a strange request, but how about some pics of the common boa from Petco? I always like to root for the underdog. (And no Photoshopping it to make it look like a new morph!)

Good luck with your breeding plans, sounds exciting.

Thanks,
Ed

I don't have many of it but I think it is a female cuz the tail is short and the spurs look small but don't plan on breeding it so I'll call it Skeeter

before first rat

after first rat

has good amounts of peaches when heshe's outside but can't get it on the camera

the tail color is not that bright at all but better than the pet shop boas but this was a present given to me so I didn't know what quality was back then but I love him. Heshe's about 40 inches maybe a couple more and I guess about 1.5 lbs (have no clue really) and is given a rat which I think is a medium every 3 weeks sometimes longer

natsamjosh Dec 23, 2007 10:19 AM

Hey, that's a "quality" snake in my book! Very nice! Just keep in mind, they've evolved for millions of years to look like that, that's the real beauty, imo.

Thanks for the pics.
