Red Mangrove Shed:

Oxyrhopus Dec 23, 2007 07:54 AM

3 litters (a 4th soon) of mangrove vipers dropped from improrts here this year, and out of them was this quite reddish gal who is mostly red colored and different from its siblings and the others from other litters. She has shed twice so far and is looking great and hopefully will develop into a nice looking 4 foot adult although I anticipte some dulling to her.

Dan,
Nice looking snake. However, I had had a few born with that coloration (including earlier this spring) and it did darken as they grew older. I WISH they would stay that way!
