It's likely due to dehydration - make sure that you are providing plenty of fresh water and are maintaining proper humidity. You might want to try giving you ball a little soak to help out.

Other possibilities could be that he rubbed up against something and it pushed in or retained eye cap - but try hydration first.

Make sure your snake has access to fresh water. Sometimes a dented eyecap can be an indicator of a snake that is underhydrated. You can try soaking the snake, but most of the times I just wait until after the next shed and this goes away. The main thing is that the snake has water, I make sure the humidity is 50-55% and I raise this up when the snakes bues out in advance of shedding. Also, you can grip the sides of the snake by the skin an if the skin desnt "snap" back and stays in a horizontal fold for more than 1/2 second, this is another indicator of dehydration.

Definitely sounds like dehydration to me !
I start to mist as soon as there eyes cloud up !
Give lots of fresh water and mist during shedding !

Well I sprayed his face with water, there was a big bead of water in the dimple and i came back 10 minutes later and it was gone, I didn’t think it would work that fast.
Thanks for the tips guy.

Jake
