ive heard say do it and other seem to frown upon it.. but mine has slowed eating & sleeps a LITTLE more during the day and he's normally really active he's about 2 yrs old .. and about 17" snout to vent
just curious if someone to attempt to fully educate me on how to properly set him up if he wanted to hibernate.. and if he did... what to do.. like the temps and stuff..
id really appreciate it

The first and most important thing is to be sure that your dragon is healthy. A visit to the vet and having a fecal done would be a good idea.

Of 16, 5 of mine are brumating. I don't do anything more than put a hide on the cool side of their enclosure. I use sand as substrate. If a dragon chooses to brumate then they go under the hide (1/2 log) and dig the sand out to close the opening. The cool side temp in my enclosures is about 70-75 and I don't change the lighting or temps. for mine. Part of the reason is I have dragons housed together where one brumates while the other remains awake.

If you are not a breeder I would not encourage them to brumate. I would just give them the resources necessary to make their own decision.
