I hope everyone from the midwest is well. I hear there is a killer snow storm, and people have no power. Anyone know of anyone who lives in that area?

I do! Most of my snakes are sleeping so now big deal. My power was only out for 2 days. All I lost was a green star polyp in my saltwater tank. So I was lucky. If you are prepared you can go for a while with no power..... I just threw a 48 hour heat pack in each of the awake snakes tanks and for my sw tank, I put 2 heat packs (in ziplock bags) inside the tank, 3 taped to the glass, and threw a towel over the tank. The water temp actually went up higher than it normally is So what did I learn.....? Keep plenty of heat packs! $5 worth of heat packs is a lot better than $200 worth of reptiles and fish!
