Sexing a Hognose......

How prominent is the dip after the cloaca in sexing the snake? Mine has a very distinguishable dip but the tail length and thickness is somewhat borderline? That being said the snake is very young still 2 months or so. Still only 5 inches /-

A male's tail length is considerably longer than a female! Even at that age, your talking like an inch (male) compared to 1/2 inch!
