can i have a 2.2 mouse group or will the males fight.
i know what your thinking, there is no need for 2 males, but ive had 5 males die, the most recent one was crushed between a cardboard nesting box and the glass, i dont understand, males just keep dieing in really odd ways. so if possible im just going to get 2 and i double my odds. can i?

Males will fight, once you've established a colony then keep it, 1.3-4 is good. Are mice getting out to be killed in this manner? you also can go throwing different adults in with others, even the females fight it'sa mess.

With two males you will just have two maimed, castrated or killed males. Try one and be careful to avoid freakish accidents. With two in a group you won't get breeding. They will be too busy trying to kill each other.
