what does it mean????

what does it mean when a collared lizard wags it's tail?my collared lizards will wag their tail out of the cage on my hand and fall asleep while they're wagging.

who knows, they wag it or move it when they are about to attack a cricketsometimes, they wag when looking at another collared, so I guess maybe they can wag in contentment in your hand also !!! It is cute to watch though ! Eve
