Hello,
I live in Northern CA and I have a one year old emys emys. I have it housed with moist cypress mulch so the humidity at substrate level is pretty good. But the enclosure is in a heated garage where the humidity is only about 40%.

I was wondering if the emys will do well in this environment or if it needs more humidity in the air. If it does then can I raise it in an enclosure that is enclosed for the most part so that the humidity level is high inside the enclosure? I have read that the emys prefer good air flow so I wasn't sure if a mostly enclosed enclosure would work.

Any thoughts?

Thank you.
Michael
