I have a pond in my backyard and i really want a turtle but i dont really have the room inside. Would a turtle stay in the pond?

if you have an enclosed area....or if the pond is big enough, otherwise they can tend to climb out and not return, i've had several leave my ponds, but ive had several stay as well. But it's always worth a shot.

I doubt it. I would just put a low fence around it or something. Maybe like some chicken wire or something. Also make sure the turtle is at least 2.5-3.0 inches before putting him in the pond, otherwise it may be hard to locate him.
