pastel

winnipeguy Dec 27, 2007 12:12 PM

ok, so I have looked all over, but no websites actually define a pastel. What are the defining characteristics. Other than a light color, is there anything that makes a pastel different than a normal? I know it seems like a dumb question, but there really is nothing I can find, other than that they are light in color, with good blushing. If this is the case, then I would say I have a pastel. (She really is a normal, but shes VERY light, and has very nice blushing)

now thats what I was looking for! Thanks a ton.
unfortunately, I am just more confused. I am not one of those people who just hope I have a morph, and I am still assuming this girl is a normal, but she meets all the criterea. She has the green eyes, lots of blushing, a very faded head, and overall, very light coloring.
Is it really possible that I have aquired a pastel by mistake???
She also gets lighter with every shed.

She looks like a nice normal - do you have a head and belly shot?

I don't think it's a pastel, but it's not necessarily a normal either. Do you have any head/neck and belly shots?

I'd say not a pastel.

Her coloring is awesome though. Find her a man & see if she has something else going on.

Thanks alot for the replies. I am pretty happy with her coloring. Can't wait til next shed, since she seems to get brighter every time!
